These are mostly mini-essays I wrote concerning Usagi and the different aspects that make her unique. Japanese are big on symbolism, and a lot of this symbolism is rooted in Asian culture/beliefs. I explore some of these with some bit of practice because I'm a little more knowledgeable than the average Sailormoon fan. My biggest source of cultural information would be my sister, who is currently an exchange student in Japan. Other essays delve into what it means to be human and, more importantly, what makes Usagi human. I hope that this information gives you a little more clearer aspect on her personality and characteristics from an observer's point of view since, after all, the only one who can possibly give you an accurate character profile would be Naoko Takeuchi. On the other hand, it would not say much for the writer's ability to communicate if the reader cannot comprehend what is meant to be a comprehendable character.

One thing that is especially notable of Usagi is her relationship with the various characters. Since she is the main character, it is important to note how the others relate to her. Again, these essays are only mini and tend to point out and extrapulate what should be obvious. I'm trying to make a point of Usagi's character that she gets along with people for various reasons. Showing how she gets along with the other characters as both friend, mother, and lover gives an insight to Usagi's emotions relations.
